Join us for this merry, sparkling, tuneful, boisterous Broadway musical version of the world’s most beloved Christmas story – Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. Based on the popular musical movie starring Albert Finney, Scrooge the Musical tells this time-honored tale of redemption and love as only The Fireside can – with a beautiful and rousing musical score, breath-taking dancing, beautiful period costumes, uproarious comedy and heart-warming drama. Lunch includes tomato bisque, freshly baked breads, your choice of supreme cut chicken breast, sliced roast beef tenderloin, grilled Atlantic salmon, or global vegetarian medley, along with black forest cake topped with fresh whipped cream. Drinks include coffee, tea and milk. Registration deadline: October 27 (spaces permitting). Transportation via Park District van.
Trip Policies & Cancellations
Suggested Ages for Trips
Adult/Active trips are appropriate for anyone ages 18 and over.
Mature Adult trips are most appropriate for ages 55 and up, but all adults are welcome.
Pick-up/Drop-off Times
Pick-up/drop-off location is at the Park District Fitness and Recreation Center – lobby unless otherwise noted. Departure times are set and abided by. If changes occur, participants will be notified by phone. Return times may vary depending on traffic or weather conditions; we make every attempt to return by the designated time.
Refunds
Refunds are only given under the following conditions:
1: The trip is cancelled by the Barrington Park District.
2: The person asking for a refund finds a replacement for the trip.
3: The Park District has a waiting list and is able to sell your ticket.
If we have not met our registration minimum by the deadline date (if one is listed), then the trip will be cancelled and a full refund will be issued. All payments are required in full at time of registration. Please notify the Park District in advance if any special ADA or dietary accommodations are needed for the trip.
