About our Memorial Program
Remembering those you love! The Barrington Park District offers three unique ways for you to memorialize, recognize and commemorate those dear to you. Individuals may purchase a brick to have inscribed, have a tree planted in honor of their loved ones or have their memory engraved on a park bench. All proceed from the Memorial Program goes to fund the Park District’s Capital Improvement Projects. Thank you for helping to make our parks beautiful for all those to enjoy while remembering those you love.
Adopt-A-Brick
Purchase a brick and have it inscribed with your personal message to your loved one. Bricks can be placed anywhere there are pavers which includes our courtyard in front of the Langendorf Aquatic Center.

Living Memorial
We offer a Burr Oak, Red Oak or Red Maple sapling that can be planted in any of our five Parks. The tree will be planted with a paver installed at its base bearing your own special inscription.
