Explore the extensive auto collection of some of the rarest, most fascinating and bizarre mechanical marvels in the museum’s collections. Peruse the Antique Museum for rare finds and dive into the Titanic Exhibit where you step into the world of the early 20th century when wealth and dreams of a better life collide. The museum showcases an unbelievable $6 million dollar collection of some of the rarest Titanic era exhibits. Following our visit to Volo, we will head to Lindy’s Landing for lunch overlooking Bangs Lake. Please select from the following menu choices of chopped salad, fried chicken breast on a bun or fish tacos. A fruit and cheese plate, vanilla ice cream, coffee, tea and coke products are also included. Extensive walking is involved with this trip. Registration/cancellation deadline: April 1 (spaces permitting). Transportation provided via Park District van.
Registration for this program/event begins at 9:00am on 12/5 for residents and 12/12 for non-residents.
Trip Information
Pick-up/drop-off location is at the Park District Fitness and Recreation Center lobby unless otherwise noted. Listed trip times are approximate. A detailed itinerary will be emailed at least 48 hours before the trip. Return times may vary depending on traffic and/or weather conditions; we make every attempt to return by the designated time.
Refunds
Refunds are only given under the following conditions:
1: The trip is canceled by the Barrington Park District.
2: The person asking for a refund finds a replacement for the trip.
3: The Park District has a waiting list and is able to sell your ticket.
4: If we have not met our registration minimum by the deadline date.
No cancellations/refunds will be accepted after the Registration/cancellation deadline listed for each trip.
All payments are required in full at time of registration. Please notify the Park District in advance if any special ADA or dietary accommodations are needed for the trip.
