July 10: HiFi Superstar
Cranking out an infectious, crunchy, modern, pop-rock energy, HiFi Superstar has established themselves as a notable presence among Chicago’s musical skyline. Billboard Award winners for their song, “Milk and Honey” and winning a #4 spot for their song “Superstar” in MTV’s VMA’s best Chicagoland breakout band, HiFi Superstar enjoys a unique and broad appeal. Playing everywhere from clubs in the city and suburbs, to community festivals and private events, their entertaining style, versatility and ability to engage crowds of all sizes has secured their place in the hearts of a wide-ranging fan base.
July 17: Rockin’ Fenderskirts
Put on your blue suede shoes and rock around the clock to your favorite rock ‘n’ roll oldies. That’ll be the day The Rockin’ Fenderskirts come to town. There’ll be a whole lotta shakin’ going on. You’ll dance, you’ll sing, you’ll laugh. You’ll get all shook up. Who knows, you might even twist and shout.
July 24: Soda
What’s your flavor? Because you’ll get the best of everything all the time with Soda. From the Zac Brown Band to Cee Lo Green, from Darius Rucker to LMFAO, this band can do it all. Three lead singers, each with distinctive styles, work to bring authenticity to all your favorite songs. And the possibilities are endless. Classic rock, 80s, new wave, reggae, alternative–the list goes on and on. Get a little taste of Soda and you’ll discover why the readers of Nightlife magazine voted Soda “one of the Top 5 cover bands in Chicago”.
July 31: Mackenzie O’Brien Band
Fronted by Mackenzie, who is referred to as “Chicago’s New Country Queen,” the band offers covers of popular country hits and rock covers, as well as original songs by Mackenzie herself. She is a seasoned professional in the industry who has performed 600+ shows in the Midwest including at some of Nashville’s best-known venues. As a band, the group recently made their third consecutive appearance at Country Thunder which is recognized as one of the biggest country music fests in the nation!
August 7: Strung Out
Strung Out is Chicago’s ultimate 70s musical experience. They’ve dug through the incredible treasure trove of classic 70s music that other bands overlook and found the greatest songs that are as diverse as the decade itself! Rock, soul, funk and fantastic one-hit wonders that are instantly recognizable have made them a favorite for audiences of all ages. With the addition of the electric cello, Strung Out creates a fresh and amazing sound that breaks the mold of every other classic rock band.
